H.3129 - Resolve providing for an investigation and study by a special commission relative to reducing fuel costs of cities and towns:
This resolve creates a special commission to study the formation and implementation of a statewide fuel collaborative, by which the
Commonwealth would purchase heating fuel in bulk and sell it to local school departments and other local municipal departments for
lower it might cost to purchase heating fuel individually.
H.1958 - Resolve providing for an investigation and study by a special commission
relative to the intake procedures of the executive office of health and human services: This resolve creates a special commission
to study the formation of an office of secondary intake review at the executive office level at EOHHS to evaluate individuals who
do not meet the specific eligibility requirements for services within a particular department, but who might nonetheless be at risk
and benefit from services elsewhere at EOHHS.
H.3339 - Resolve providing for an investigation and study by a special commission relative
to extending sponsorship rights for the bridges of the Commonwealth: This resolve creates a special commission to study the implementation
of a program granting sponsorship rights for the bridges across the Commonwealth. The commission will look at issues such as the implementation
of such a program, a cost schedule for such sponsorship, and possible destinations for sponsorship revenues.
H.3676 - An Act relative
to representation by the Attorney General in actions involving pilots (Refile, H. 882): Under current Massachusetts state law, only
pilots serving district one, which encompasses the port of Boston, shall be represented in legal matters by the Attorney General’s
office. This bill would amend the law to include pilots serving the entire coast of Massachusetts.
H.3451 - An Act relative to manufacturers’
coupons and rebates: It shall be lawful for any manufacturer, distributor, or supplier of prescription pharmaceutical products to
offer and participate in any direct to consumer rebate programs, even if a portion of the prescription is paid for by a health insurer.

- An Act improving emergency access to mental health services (Jointly filed with Senator James Eldridge): Currently, Massachusetts
general law Chapter 123 Section 12 states that the emergency hospitalization and examination of persons in imminent danger of causing
harm to themselves or someone else, may only be authorized by physicians, psychologists, psychiatric nurse mental health clinical
specialists and police officers. An Act to Improve Emergency Access to Mental Health Services would include LICSW’s to this law as
qualified mental health professionals who could issue a “Section 12”.
H.2931 - An Act relative to the taxation of incomes: This bill
would increase the state deduction for rent paid on a principle residence from its current amount of $3,000 to $6,000.
H.3446 - An
Act further regulating hazardous and toxic material (Refile, H.4362): Legislation which would mandate any employer closing their business
to notify the DEP at least 60 days prior to closing to schedule a walk through; inventorying any existing hazardous or toxic waste
on site. The DEP will mandate a closure plan with a schedule for the company to remove hazardous/toxic materials within compliance
of the law prior to the company vacating the premises.
H.3404 - An Act protecting graves of veterans (Refile, H.3727): This legislation
would allow the holder of a burial easement of a grave of a veteran the right to place and maintain a grave marker or metal plaque
and a flag of the United States and would penalize any individual or organization who interferes with this practice.
H.2283 - An Act
further regulating exits in sports complexes (Refile, H. 1852): This legislation would require nightclubs, bars, movie theatres, sports
arenas and other high-volume, high-risk venues to route all emergency exits with a luminescence egress to be seen during a fire emergency
or other situation where vision is limited.
H.2614 - An Act relative to the retirement of John J. Sbrega (Refile, H.2440): This bill
will allow Dr. John J. Sbrega, president of Bristol Community College, to transfer from the optional retirement program into the state
retirement system.
H.1957 - An Act relative to mental health (Refile, H.264): This bill will include psychologists among the professionals
from whom nurses can take orders.
H.2282 - An Act further protecting public safety: MGL 131, Sec. 71 currently mandates that hunters
wear fluorescent orange clothing when in the woodlands during deer hunting season in Massachusetts. This bill would expand the law
to include any person entering the woodlands during deer hunting season.
H.3832 – Per Constituent Request. An Act providing an early
retirement incentive for certain employees of the department of transitional assistance: Each employee eligible shall request and
receive a combination of years of creditable service and years of age, the sum of which shall not be greater than five years of creditable
service and years of age, provided said employee shall retire within sixty months of the date of enactment of this section.
